It's been awhile for everything....since we last posted here....since either of us has shown off our new work....since we have been to the state fair (which is where we went this evening). I'm not usually one to promote the idea of drinking alcohol and I think it is only good in moderation but tonight there was the perfect treat at the end of a warm summers day, frozen, blended wine - my favorite was the Tropical Chardonnay but the Blackberry Merlot was a close second. I wish someone had told me about them sooner!

As for posting, it has been awhile and there is no other reason than that the summer has gotten away from us. The days are longer with sunlight and before you know it the time is late. . . . one thing leads to another and it's time for bed. Not much of an excuse, just an explanation.

Moving onto new pieces. . . . . jewelry pieces at the moment have been few and far between but with good reason. Finally got Lisa onto a torch, so most of our work has been on glass pieces. Lisa has been working on bead shaping technique and style plus a little venture into off mandrel work (free shaped pendants). I have been working on finding my inspiration, still practicing skills that I have learned from previous instructors but pushing my abilities and designs into something new. I have a new style of pendant that I will be uploading very soon, in fact I will try to post a sneak peak photo in the next day or two. They are new shapes and colors from some of my previous work so check back in to see the new pieces. We are also working on offering a variety of necklace options for our pendants to include sterling silver chains, hand dyed silk ribbons and cords and different colors, types and sizes of leather cords. So if you don't see them posted immediately when the pendants are up just e-mail us to request one.

It's been awhile since we've posted, sorry about that. Just trying to get settled in after moving everything. It is taking a little bit to get use to our new studio setup and everything has gone a bit crazy. Before we knew it there were jobs coming in left and right for the Print Studio side - for those of you who may not know we also do print design like ads, flyers, postcards and all sorts of other print advertising design.

Anyway, this weekend is the Davis Rotary BBQ. We wanted to show you what we will be donating to the silent auction. It is an amazing boro pendant from me and a wonderful gemstone bracelet designed by Lisa. It will be lots of fun down at central park on Saturday. The weather is suppose to be wonderful so come down and see our pieces, have some great food and a wonderful time!

Hi! We are getting ready to pack up everything and move. You don't realize how much stuff you really have until you have to put every last piece into a box. It's going to take us a while packing a few boxes here and there. It is going to be hard to pack up the studio stuff, all our supplies will be packed away and we won't be able to make anything for a little while. I bet that those will be one of the first boxes unpacked though! Well back to work. Don't be afraid to still contact us during this time. We are still able to schedule a personal showing if you want to see any of the pieces we have recently made.
